Seminarians are those studying in a Catholic Seminary who are spending time in prayer and study to see if God is calling them to be a priest.
Deacon Chad Franklin
Deacon Chad Franklin is currently studying at St. Peter’s Seminary in London, Ontario pursuing the priesthood for the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie. Chad is from the city of Sault Ste. Marie, although he has lived in many cities across Northern Ontario.
On August 14, 2020, he was ordained a Transitional Deacon at Christ the King Church in Sudbury. This year, he is completing his final year of studies on his way to the Holy Priesthood.

Tim Silver
Tim Silver is currently studying at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan pursuing the priesthood for the Companions of the Cross, a religious order based in Ottawa, Ontario. Tim is from North Bay, Ontario, and is a parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Church.
Tim recently graduated fro his undergraduate degree in Philosophy, and will be entering the Theology program.
